Hello everyone! My name is Yoel ✨, and I am currently pursuing my BA in Computer Science 💻. I've always been intrigued by technology 🌐, but more importantly, how I can use it to improve the lives of others 🤝. I chose Cybersecurity 🔒 because I believe that having a connected world is essential, but ensuring it's safe is equally important.

My career goal is to land a position as a SOC Analyst 🛡️ and work my way up to becoming a Threat Analyst. I am a team player and a leader, committed to contributing to the success of the organization that hires me while aligning with my mission to protect the world.

When I'm away from my desk, I love playing my guitar 🎸 and creating new melodies 🎶. I come from an island 🏝️ called Hispaniola, specifically the eastern side, but I've been raised in the U.S. 🇺🇸 since I was six.

I’ve participated in job simulations, like the Mastercard Incident Report, and I’m always looking to improve my skills 📈. Innovation and providing awareness about cybersecurity risks to stakeholders are what drive me forward. Helping others understand how to stay safe is a responsibility I take seriously.
