You set it up on a clear night, download the app, and select an object from the catalog, and watch it find its way through the night sky and begin taking incredible photos for you to wonder what is the point of this?.  This is where you should enter astrophotography. This is the scope I have.

Only about 30% of the hobby is equipment and shooting, and the other 70% is in using math to wrangle pictures into art.

Astrophotography is a hobby that you won't get to do as often as you'd like because of the weather conditions but it makes every night a very special night that you do.

This telescope shook the astrophotography world in November 2023. Previously, the bar to enter the hobby was a $4-5k investment, and we're able to do it today at a fraction of the cost, with less trouble, and we get better results.  There hasn't been another telescope to date that even comes close to competing with this one for entry-level.  It's so easy.
